Services We Offer
Within this site, you will find many
new and exciting procedures offered right here in our clinic. We perform
cosmetic procedures such as Botox®, collagen, Restylane®, chemical peels, and
sclerotherapy as well as diagnosing and treating many skin conditions. Ask
us about the Arasys Inch Loss® system or Phototherapy and Xtrac Laser
Phototherapy treatments. All of these services are performed by specially
trained staff.
In addition to evaluating and treating
adult and pediatric skin diseases, our Board Certified dermatologists
perform several procedures including surgical removal of skin cancers and
benign lesions. Our surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis under
local anesthesia right here in our office.
The clinic is proud to be the only
dermatology clinic on the Coast to offer cutting-edge technology in
phototherapy. Phototherapy is an effective, often drug free way to treat a
variety of inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema,
vitiligo, and extreme itching.
In March 2007 we began providing Xtrac
laser treatments for patients with vitiligo and psoriasis. We are the first
clinic on the Coast to offer this technology as well. Many of these treatments
are covered by insurance. If you know of anyone who suffers with these
conditions, tell them to call out office.
Both of our physicians are trained to
perform several cosmetic procedures. They have had extensive training in
the administration of Botox® for the treatment of wrinkles and excessive
sweating. We also offer Restylane® and collagen injections to improve the
appearance of scars, wrinkles, and to enhance lips, as well as the newest
fillers Juvederm® and Perlane®. For hollowing of
the cheeks, injections of Sculptra® are a surgery free option. Early in
2007, the FDA approved Radiesse® (a calcium derivative with a gel
consistency) for cosmetic use to fill wrinkles on the face. It can also be
used in areas of volume loss like hollowed cheeks or to change the contour
of the nose. It lasts an average of 18 months (almost twice as long as
Restylane®). Chemical Peels are also performed for the treatment of fine
lines and wrinkles, irregular pigmentation or texture, and acne. We also
perform sclerotherapy, the treatment of obvious leg veins, (spider veins)
by injecting a sclerosing medium into them. We do
not treat varicose veins using
this method.
Why trust just anyone to pierce your
ears? There is more and more evidence to support the overwhelming side
effects of unsanitary equipment in body piercing. Chronic earlobe
tenderness, infections, unsightly keloid formations, and even death are
just a few reasons to have your ears pierced by the friendly and
professional staff at the Dermatology Clinic. Call us for an appointment.
Your ears will thank you.
