Amanda Harris, PA-C

Amanda Harris, PA-C is a native of Zachary, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Sociology in 2011. She went on to attend Louisiana State University’s Physician Assistant Program in New Orleans, where she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2017. Amanda was awarded board certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants. Prior to attending PA school, Amanda gained 8 years of dermatology experience as a medical assistant. Amanda worked in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care as a physician assistant, prior to joining the Dermatology Clinic.

Amanda has a genuine passion for dermatology and takes great pride in helping her patients feel confident, empowered, and comfortable in their own skin. She approaches cosmetic procedures with a mindset of enhancing a person’s natural beauty.

Outside of her professional life, Amanda cherishes time spent with her husband, their two children, her extended family and friends. Together, she and her husband are deeply committed to creating awareness and raising vital resources for Fight CMD, the nonprofit they founded to help accelerate research and advance life-changing treatments for children affected by Congenital Muscular Dystrophy, like their daughter.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling, and live music.
