Kassie L. Stafford is a Physician Assistant from Slidell, Louisiana. She received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Loyola University New Orleans in 2005, and a Master of Medical Science in Physician Associate Studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge in 2009. Mrs. Stafford is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants. She joined the Dermatology Clinic in September 2009.

Physician Assistants are concerned with preventing, maintaining, and treating human illness and injury by providing a broad range of health care services that are traditionally performed by a physician. Physician Assistants conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, perform in-office procedures, assist in surgery, and write prescriptions. Mrs. Stafford has been carefully trained by Dr. Wingfield and Dr. Sasaki to become an important part of the Dermatology Clinic healthcare team.
